You demanded it so I will provide it! I've resisted in the past but have decided instead to embrace your requests. I personally have nothing against hybrids, but keeping in line with my philosophy, I prefer to promote open-pollinated and/or heirloom varieties as YOU can save your own seed from year to year.
Small, golden-orange fruits are borne on long trusses of exceedingly sweet flavor.
I have no issue with hyrids per say. My problem with them is that there is a real possibility that you will one year go to purchase them and they won't be available. I'm not suggesting that this will happen with this variety but let me assure that it has and will happen many times in the past and future. Hybrids come and go - being replaced by whatever the newest or latest and greatest is deemed.
Having said this, I will have several OPEN-POLLINATED variations of 'Sun Gold F1' available for purchase when you come to the greenhouse. Please consider growing one next to the original so that you can see for yourself.
