In January of 2017, I attended a seed swap at Detroit Home & Garden in Ann Arbor, MI. I met a very passionate seed saver with many handwritten packages of seeds proudly spread out on the table in front of him. He was Romanian and spoke little to no english, but was able to convey that he had brought this pepper with him from his home town. Several years later, a long time customer told me that he was indeed correct and back in Romanian this pepper is known as Gogosari.
 
Glossy red, thick-walled, fruits are crunchy and super sweet! SO much more productive and much quicker to ripen than any standard bell pepper. A must try!
