The perfect tomato for anyone who thinks they don’t have room to grow great tomatoes.
A true dwarf determinate hybrid bred specifically for containers and tiny spaces. Plants top out at just 18–24 inches tall and stay naturally compact and bushy with dark green rugose leaves, yet they pump out full-sized, bright red, round fruits that average 2½–3 inches (4–5 oz each) with surprisingly good, sweet classic tomato flavor—far better than most “patio” types. Expect 20–40 fruits per plant in a single flush over 3–4 weeks, starting about 65 days from transplant.
Because it’s determinate, no pruning or tall staking is needed—just drop it in a 1- to 5-gallon pot (bigger pot = bigger yield), give it full sun and regular water/fertilizer, and you’ll have a genuine harvest of real tomatoes on a balcony, patio, or doorstep. Extremely disease-resistant and heat-tolerant.
HISTORY: Bred by Burpee and introduced in the early 2000s as part of their “Patio” series, Patio Princess remains one of the very best-tasting, most reliable dwarf tomatoes for small-space gardeners.
Sold as a single plant in a 3.5" pot.
