One of the top five most commonly used herbs globally, Oregano  requires little maintenance and makes an excellent edging plant or ground covering even in dry garden spots.

Medicinally, this plant is a powerhouse containing chemicals that reduce cough, aid with digestion and with fighting against bacteria and viruses.  Less common uses are for wound healing, parasite infections.
