A Spanish heirloom, plants are rather short and squat - growing between 18 inches and 2 foot tall - and about the same width. The beautiful purple and white striped fruits are about 6" to 8" long with a delicate sweet mild flavor, creamy consistency, and no bitterness. Thin skin does not need to be peeled for cooking.
