Perfectly heart-shaped pink fruits, on large indeterminate vines with wispy regular leaf foliage - truly beautiful.
Fruits average just above a 3/4 lb, are meaty, with few seeds and of exceptional flavor. Plants are vigoruous, and will need sufficient staking. More disease resistant than most and requiring less irrigation, as well.
HISTORY: I received seed of this variety about 10 years ago and had grown it several times but didn't get pictures for some reason. A couple years later, I did a trade and received a variety named "Bobbie". I thought, 'Whaaat?' So, I grew them out side by side and sure enough they are the exact same. About this this same time I was doing research and came across a thread stating that the late Carolyn Male renamed it, as she found 'Boobie' offensive. Original origins are unknown other than it was first listed in the early 1990's in the Seed Savers Exchange catalog by Ermal N. Kuhns of Anderson, Indiana (IN KU E) listed as "BOOBIE".
Sold in a 3.5" pot.
