Fruits are medium-sized and slightly tapered. They begin green and ripen to a dark chocolate skin with interior brick red flesh. Peppers do not lose their color when cooked! Sweet and crunchy!

Great for northern gardeners. An early bell pepper bred by Elwyn Meader and introduced by the U of NH Agricultural Experiment Station in 1965.

Sold in a 2.62" wide x 3.5" deep pot.
