A dwarf (tree-type) variety that produces lots of 3-8 oz. bi-colored, yellow tomatoes with red swirled flesh on the blossom end which extends through to the epidermis. A beautiful tomato with well balanced flavor that is sweet but leans a bit more on the acid side.
HISTORY: A Dwarf Tomato Project variety. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between New Big Dwarf and Mortgage Lifter, Pesta Strain and named Pesty. Dwarf Caitydid was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier. The name is a combination of Craig’s daughter Caitlin’s name with the well known insect. It just seemed to be a perfect fit!
