French for 'black pineapple', dark dusky pink fruits with olive green shoulders are beautiful in their own right. But slice one open and a stunning combination of olive green, pink and cream flesh will reveal itself. Outstanding sweet smoky flavor; a taste that is as complex as its colors. Fruits weigh an average of 1 1/2 lbs. A highly regarded open-pollinated variety.
HISTORY: Found in a patch of 'Pineapple' tomatoes in Belgium by horticulturist Pascal Moreau, who then developed and stabilized it.
Sold in a 3.5" pot.
