Jon Harper, a grower from the United Kingdom, created this chile by crossing the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Red to Yellow 7 Pot.
Pods measure just shy of 2 inches long by 2 inches wide and mature from green to orange and finally to red. A very interesting characteristic of this variety is that the red will sometimes seep to the calyx and when the stem. Like many of these newer strains of ridiculiously hot chilies, it may not be 100% stable.
